Vous avez besoin de bois ?

The American East coast has sent us some leftover snow. On the Avenue de Paris, the trees have been dabbled with again, so if you need some wood, now's the time to get it but careful, it's very slippery. Sorry for not having had the time to visit your blogs yesterday.

How cool that they consolidate the tangled and fallen wood to be recycled back into the environment by becoming dissolved through the process of making us feel warm and receptive.

We have lots more snow to send you!

It's interesting that the wood is available to come and pick up and the snow makes it very beautiful.

I hope you don't get leftovers from the storm we are having now!! We're getting a BUNCH!

I've heard about the snow in Paris (very unusual, they say) and figured you'd probably get some, too.

Do you mean people can help themselves to the wood?

Love these soft, snowy evening shots. Hope all is well, Ciel.

I'm sorry you had to settle for left-overs. I suspect you're just as happy not having the full East-Coast meal to deal with, though.

Lovely photo!

Maybe they are going to make broken chairs with these broken branches! ;-)

Well, I guess I will find out what it is like tomorrow:-)
We got more snow too this morning, probably all the way from America via Paris...
Is this wood free?? I guess someone will take it?

I like how they prune the trees in Paris, it must be the quest for neatness and uniformity. I like the lightiing in the pictures, I can feel the cold.

@ all: there's no sign saying that you can't help yourself, so I assume that it's allowed!

Boy those trees really did get pruned or as my Mother says "edited". Sorry about all the snow. No more nice days for us for awhile---just gray skies and lots of rain. MB

Looking at this it's almost spring here...

I think you could be correct about this being American snow as it looks a bit different from the snow where I live!

I'm sure they would gladly send you as much as you need.

The long, snowy road draws the eye further away, making me want to keep going. Very nice composition!

Would anyone bother if there had been a sign stating the opposite? ;)

We have a pile of wood outside our house already. We're still trying to find someone to take it!

Unfortunately, we do not have a working fireplace. Just gas logs (which really are quite cosy).

AHAHA !
Bon WE à toi !

Oh the poor trees, they are not equipped for the snow, I suppose.
