Vannerie

This basket shop has existed for as long as I can remember! Well, 20 odd years anyway! The smaller picture was taken last winter, the large one in July.

It is not easy to find basket shops around, the location is great and the shop looks nice. Hope they continue at least for twenty more years.

I notice a man in white in the top photo is admiring you. ;-)

Well, 20 years is a long time in one location trying to stay afloat. I'd probably be a basket case!

Baskets must be good business if the store can stay operating that long a time.

They must make a great quality basket to be in business that long. Good for them.

Do you buy baskets there or just look at them?

Marvelous! I wonder how this fits in with the rest of the street. I can't wait to see more!

I have basket shop envy. I can see why they have been around for 20 years.
P.S. I did follow the link and while the spring clock is nice, the summer clock is more dynamic.

Bon weekend !

Is there such a great demand for baskets in Versailles? Perhaps it is the picnic capital of France. That's a pleasant thought.
