Gorgeous colors! It truly is a symphony. Must have been so nice to watch it. I also like the second one. From this angle, it looks like you have almost as much water as we do :) But the sculptures we don't have. . . .

Superbe spectacle les eaux nocturnes de Versailles. Et les photos sont tres belles.
Je ne sais ou se trouve l'hotel Nikko mais j'ai pris la photo a partir de l'allee des cygnes (pont de Grenelle)

What a good illustration of the grandeur of the palace. Imagine 220 or more years ago, sitting on the terrace facing the pool and gardens, sipping champagne, oblivious to the rest of the world...

I love the sky blue pink in the first one and the yellow fountain in the foreground but the blues in teh second photo are just luscious. Great photos.. and yes sell postcards.. you can get rich. :-)

Your fountain pix are stunning. Amazing colors. They make a nice collection. I hope you are saving them somehow in a book.

Fantastic!!!! What super colors.

In regards to your fishing question: yes there are all kinds of rules and regulations. A certain limit, a certain size and certain days. that is why you see so many fishermen out at once. It is a limited fishery anymore. MB

Water moving to the sound of classical music and colors in the sky -- sounds very dreamy!

Je suis d'accord avec Olive, je voulais dire qu'il ne manque plus que les instruments et la musique d'époque : du Lully ou Lalande
[Ces bleus ressemblent au violet de l'encre des encriers tu ne trouves pas ?]

Gorgeous photos of gorgeous subjects.

These are so lovely, CQ. They look like brochure photographs, the kind you sit and study, the kind that make you long to go to that place. Nicely done.
