L'orangerie du château

Two years ago minus one day, I posted a full view of the palace orangerie with the Swiss Lake in the background. Today here are some details.

Il y a deux ans moins un jour, je postais une photo de l'orangerie avec la pièce d'eau des Suisses en toile de fond. Aujourd'hui, voici quelques détails.

It's so beautiful. Did I tell you my husband says we are going to return to Paris because we missed seeing Versailles and several other places? I'm looking forward to the Orangerie. Some day.

Good morning from Perth, so happy to have found your images, they bring back happy memories. My daughter and I visited Versailles last year, what an amazingly beautiful area. I really love Perth but sometimes wonder what it would be like to live somewhere surrounded by such history and beauty.

tonight I feel a bit like living there, as there's an Orange and Lemon tree in our garden as well :)

Fabulous details in the gardens.

So all those trees are in planters? That's mind boggling as are the shapes of the grass.

We are going to visit here the next time we tour Versailles! What a luscious spot! It looks a little surreal...

It is one of the places around the palace grounds I cannot forget. Opulent, elegant and simple at the same time. These are good illustrations.

Bet it's a job taking care of this place. It's so beautiful.

Absolutely stunning. I love the turquoise water with the green tree refections.

Both your long view two years ago and these short views of the potted orangerie are just lovely. Wonderful symmetry in the place.
