I don't recall ever seeing a chestnut tree bloom, it's quite spectacular :-)

Your trees are leafed out a lot more fully than the trees around here. This looks like a summer scene.

Are the red flowered ones American horse chestnuts and the ones with white flowers "ordinary" horse chestnuts? They always look like tress decorated with candles.
