Tucson, Arizona rencontre Versailles, Yvelines

Last Saturday I had the immense pleasure of meeting T. Becque of Tucson, Arizona who is visiting France with her lovely son and her equally lovely mother-in-law. We had crêpes and cider for lunch and took a loooooong photographic walk through the city and palace gardens. Check out Thoughts in Images here and gorgeous art here. I had a wonderful time!

T. Becque has spoken of her trip to France for a long time. She's a fine photographer and it is so nice you were able to get together and take a photographic walk! I'm just a wee bit jealous!

Both of these photos are very creative, Ciel - artsy-fartsy! Kudos to you!

c'etait la semaine des rencontres entre bloggeurs (voir aussi le post de Nathalie d'Avignon), c'est toujours un moment sympatique (et comme moi quand on se comprend pas, des moments amusants)

Well that really sounds like a great day and I think it's very kind of you to show her and her family around Versailles.

I look forward to a similar day in late summer, but why is it our CDP colleagues never come here? I suppose Missouri is less of a magnetic tourist destination than France.

I'm envious here, I also want to go to Versailles and take a coffee with you my dear friend! :)
And you need to visit us here in Luxembourg as well some day!
But please, don't ask me to chat in French because I don't want to disappoint you.I have an awful accent! LOL
It's so nice to meet good friends!

Isn't it extraordinary to meet friends from the CDP community? Generosity of spirit seems to be one of the qualities so many bloggers have in common. Thank you for your hospitality, Ciel. I'm certain T. Becque and her family were as moved by that as by the beauty around them.

It's your turn now to come and visit Arizona even if we don't have a Versailles...
We have pancakes and flavored teas (beers too) and a lot of photographic spots...

It always makes me smile when I read about blogging friends meeting in person. It makes it hard to become cynical about human nature. Glad you had a fun photo walk together.
