We had 2 rose bushes in our yard where I grew up. No one paid any attention to them or tended to them, yet they always produced the largest, most amazing smelling roses I've ever experienced.
I think your title is The Season of Roses but can't say for sure since I don't read French. I took one year of Spanish in High school about 60 years ago and all the languages are similar - French, Spanish, Latin.
Very lovely roses. My brother-in-law just got back from a trip to Versailles and Paris. One of his photos had the Bernar Venet sculpture and I said I saw it before he did! ha!

Thorny beauties! Lovely to look at. You must have had some wonderful weather of late!
Haley is doing very well. She's pretty much back to her "old" self...so we're very grateful! Thank you for caring!
Oh, what beautiful roses, the nice old-fashioned kind. I love them.

The roses are exquisite in that soft pink and so gracefully adorning the wall and the wrought iron fence.
Have a wonderful weekend, mon amie!

A great time of year to enjoy the wondrous accents of Life.
Lovely fence decorations.
A perfect cascade. I imagine the roses getting thicker and thicker, then raining onto the ground.
Lovely. I particularly like the ones by the fence.
Gorgeous.

Bet they smelled great too.
Those look like English Roses and I would expect a great fragrance. Beautiful!
They always have to be sniffed too. xxxx

I love roses and these are beautiful. The second photo with the iron fence contrasting with the soft pink and delicacy of the roses is terrific.
I smell the fragrance even now.
so pretty and I bet it smelled good too.

I like the photography very much.
What is the name of your camera?
I like the way it registers the colors.
I love the ones by the iron fence, cold beauty and hot beauties together, make a beautiful couple ;)
ah, j'aime! c'est frais, c'est joli, c'est le printemps!
Oh, I was just noticing the roses today while out walking! I saw the first one about a week ago, and now they are everywhere! Yours are lovely, Ciel!
I always try to shoot some roses, but I am rarely satisfied with my work...
I love roses, too, but it is a month too early for roses in Hartford. Rose Weekend at Elizabeth Park is June 17 - 19 this year.
I imagine the scent is lovely as your photo! :D
How beautiful - roses on ironwork. So sweet.

Too pretty! I love the trailing roses and the roses with the railing. So beautiful. Reminds me of a country house.
Very lovely roses.
