Le Triathlon du Roi

Yesterday, people were running around and swimming in the Swiss Lake: it was the Triathlon du Roi or King's Triathlon event. I merely watched... For a more general view of the lake, click here. For all posts, including history, click on the label below!

Tri-athletes are amazing, aren't they? It's always nice to see there's help on hand for them, though.
I love the shady path by the lake. It would also be nice for strolling quietly!

I am tired just looking at the pictures. I think I will sit here a bit longer, if you don't mind.

I'll admire their hard work and urge them on. Looks like a beautiful spot for a triathlon.

Now that is a place I would love to walk in. It's so green and beautiful.

Good for them. I would just be watching too.

Ah d'accord !

I am with Jack, but it would be nice to seat in the shadow of a tree and watch them!

What a lovely spot for a race of any kind! Lois always wanted to do a triathlon, but for various reasons never did so. She did run two marathons and many half-marathons and numerous other races. Now, she just runs for fun. Can't imagine how people can complete a triathlon!

And yes, the sky was as bad as it looks, but except for a little rain, it passed over us. :-)

Great scenery to endure a triathlon. All those vibrant green trees are beautiful. Plus, I'm sure, the runners appreciated the shade.

I'm also a great observer. Though I do admire their athleticism. Beautiful park.

Okay, so what do I know? Me am dumb, dumb, dumb. Did look like wrapped deli meat, though! :-)

I would have been watching too since I am not much of an athlete.

People who do triathlon are crazy. I would definitely be on the sidelines, too :D

I've done a few triathlons, it's hard! But this looks like a lovely spot to do one.
