Bornes Mc Do

At McDonald's opposite Rive Gauche train station, where many tourists like to eat French specialities (me? Ironic?!), these automatic order and pay machines make queuing up a little faster.
--------------------------

They tried automatic ordering kiosks at our local McDonald's and they weren't very well received. Not sure why, exactly. Strange, you would think people would be crazy for them.

I don't like McDonald's at all, but I've never seen such a system in this country. Maybe it's because I haven't been in a McDonald's in a very long time. Looks quite efficient.

I know you're probably sound asleep at this point, but when you awake all peppy and ready to face a new day, I hope you will find my email...

My country's great curses upon the world. I have never seen these order-and-pay machines, but why does it say order instead of commander?

Wow, I've never seen this before! I noticed that it said "order" too (unless that's part of another word we can't see). I find this photo fascinating - the American concept of McDonalds in such a "foreign" design.

To answer your question, no I've never thought about a window book before. But I like the idea; at least it would provide an excuse to keep taking pictures of windows!

I haven't ever seen anything like this, I am not sure to like it, but I'm willing to try...

Interesting but I'll have to say 'no thanks'. I don't think it is real food. MB

Is McDonalds popular in France?

Can't imagine why anyone wants to eat this stuff, especially in France!!! And getting it faster too, makes the heart failure arrive quicker too no doubt!!?? :-/

Not a fan of McD's but this is an interesting way to order. Haven't seen this here in the states...yet.

Poor little baby. Being introduced to fat, salt and grease at such a young age!:((

The only similar thing I've seen in Boston is paying for your parking meter like this. You pay by credit card (yes, parking is expensive in Boston:) and get a little sticky piece of paper you stick on your window to prove you paid so you don't get a ticket.

I have not seen machines like this in Norway, and I guess it will take some time before we get them...
McDonald`s is still popular, but these days most people eat more healthy food.

I've never seen anything like it. If you're going to have fast food, I think it's best to make it really fast!
