Fabulous, looks like a post card!
I remember my first sight of the flower beds at the palace...unbelievable! I took so many photos. And I can see they are constantly changing in shape.
magnifique,ne manque que le soleil ;O)
The formal gardens are works of art! Quite lovely!!
I really like formal gardens. How beautiful!Sharon
My gardener needs to step their game ;-)Lovely, I can't imagine the hours it takes to keep it this beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
That garden must be a full time job. It's beautiful.
It is beautiful and remarkable, Ciel. It is hard imaginine how much work it takes to maintain these gardens.
Pretty gardens - love those low growing flowers. How fortunate you are Ciel to live so close to the chateau.
Lovely photo..I am reading a book about Marie Antoinette and just read about the famous Labyrinthe which was renamed later...it must have been great fun to design and build these beautiful gardens for the King and his court! The chateau belonged to all of France then and all were welcomed so long as they wore proper attire. If they could not afford it, it was lent to them at the chateau.
encore un jardin que j'ai envie d'ebouriffer! lespetits massifs fleuris lui donnent un air moins coincé ceci dit. Et malgré tout, bravo au jardinier!Bon dimanche à toi!
I just loved the gardens at the palace, can only imagine the hours it takes in the upkeep, beautiful shot Ciel.
The gardens are fantastic. There must be an army of gardeners....I wonder how many?
Amazing garden so well elaborated and with beautiful flowers!Happy SundayLéia

I'd feel like Alice in the wonderland of flowers :D

Flowers like these can but put one in a better humour :-)Thank you so much for your condolences and kind words. They were highly appreciated.
Lovely! I would like to get higher, to see the overall design...
une tres belle vue sur ce jardin
On ne peut que s'imaginer le travail derriere ces parterres.
These gardens are beautiful. Is it also a walkable labryinth as well? How lovely to walk it with the beauty of the flowers.
@ Suzanne: I wouldn't try to walk there if I were you! You'd get shooed away in no time!
Very lovely garden! I wish I were patient enough to garden like this!
How beautiful...I would love to stroll though here.
What a beautiful garden! Love it.Mary Joy from Electric Bass Guitar
Ciel, slap with a wet noodle, but I must say that although your image looks fabulous, my impression is that the flowers are a bit hodge-podge...? Could just be my taste in formal gardens.
I may have accidentally hit the "yuck" button when trying to comment! So sorry. This garden is gorgeous!
