Quite a collection - well spotted. Enjoy the music btw, esp when plugged into freestanding speakers. How about another track?

Nice assortment of mailboxes. You can't miss that brilliant yellow. I like that you included a portion of the bicycle in the shot.

How beautiful a picture the second one. Makes one wish it would still be time to write with a fountain pen, running to the post office to get some stamps ...

Please have a good Sunday and nice new month as well.

Ah, you've looked at mail from both sides now.

I love how different all the ones are in the community area. They all seem to display an aspect of their owners.

Yay, you're back! I love these mailbox photos...glad you took both!

A wonderful collection of mailboxes in the second photo, and I never did mail a letter or even a postcard in one of the beautiful yellow boxes in France!

I like all the colors, sizes and shapes of the "receiving" mailboxes and I also enjoyed the music!

A great posting for theme day with the public YELLOW mailbox and the private assortment of mailboxes!

The courtyard shot is cool, I like all the different shapes, sizes, and colors.

I think someone need to paint one really wild so it will stand out. Nice shots.

It looks as if the UK could have its postal services fully privatised soon. So I wonder if we'll then have different mail boxes and collection points.

the yellow looks official and exudes efficiency and the others look normal

Nice!
I wonder why we don't have separate names for the receiving mailbox and the collecting one.

Lots of great mailboxes. I wonder if in the UK we are the only country that have our letters delivered through our front door letter box and not into a separate box!

J'aime bien le fouillis de la deuxième photo! on ne le trouve plus que dans certains vieux immeubles;Certes, ça n'est pas pratique, mais ça a tellement plus de charme!

Great to see both types.

When I first saw yellow mailboxes they seemed strange. Ours are all blue. And that bunch down below is so interesting. What a variety! Nicely done!

I love the chaos in your second photo! So many different types of mailboxes lined up. I don't think we see that here :D

The second one looks somewhat like a piece of modern art...
God bless you!

It's a long time we don't post anything... The second image could be some building in the old Livorno!

Merci pour le muguet virtuel. :)

I like the French post boxes. They were always easy to find with the yellow color.

Wonderful how you thought of outgoing and incoming. Love the bicycle in top photos frame. I learn so much from you.

Oh, is YELLOW the official French colour of mailboxes for outgoing mail. Canada's is RED. :)

Re your question on Ocala: No, that isn't Haley; looks very much life her, though. Wonderful dog.

Two very appropriate images for the mailbox theme. I like the randomness of the mailboxes in the lower photo.

It looks like most people need larger mailboxes. Perhaps they were designed in the era when most of the mail was letters. Now, it seems to be mostly catalogues that take up more space.

Quite an array. I guess each tenant puts up their own box. Perfect theme day post.

I really like the photo with ALL the letter boxes:)

Love the anarchic look on the courtyard shot! :-)

I'm so disorganized right now (if it doesn't pertain to planning my trip!), I completely forgot about theme day again! And I love mailboxes.

You do amazing things with color, Ciel. I would like to watch you shoot.

In the U.S. you can mail things and receive mail in the same box at your house. There are little flags on the boxes that you put up to notify the postal carrier that you have some outgoing mail that day.
