Tentation

The Christmas stuff has been for sale for quite a while. And however hard I try to resist temptation, I usually fail dismally.

Les décos de Noël sont en vente depuis quelques temps. J'ai beau tout faire pour résister à la tentation... c'est trop dur...

These rich colors are a welcome sight and quite different from (our) traditional red and green. These are just luscious!

It's about time to get seerious about plans and preparations for Christmas. . . I have everyone beat on that as I keep my artificial tree up all year so I can enjoy the one of a kind ornaments that adorn it. Now, all I need is snow. . . outside of course!

Me too! I've already started my shopping which is good because it's already getting crazy with people doing the same.

I have not yet succumbed to purchasing any Christmas items yet. I'm more focused on Thanksgiving right now. :)

Like my dad used to say: "I've got plenty of 'will' power. I 'will' buy lots of Christmas stuff. It's 'won't power that I'm lacking!"

You're funny. Interesting that there is so much gold here - and I see a bit of red and green. Maybe there is more red in other parts of the shop? Or maybe this a shop of la haute coutre?

My dear Ciel: I'm so sorry that you feel so poorly! It is no fun going to work under such conditions. But I don't think you need a new battery; rather, I think the batteries you have need a charge. Maybe a glass of wine, a good night's rest, and some medication would do the trick?

Much more delectable looking ornaments than what you would find in the average Walmart here. Very tempting treats indeed..

I live near a shopping mall, but don't dare visit; it's much easier to have it shipped to the house. I've started a list for my wife, but that's the extent.

I'm such a sucker for ornaments. My favorite shopping day is the day after Xmas when everything is 50-70% off.

C'est ton âme d'enfants qui refait surface, il faut bien tous ces scintillements pour se réchauffer.

My weakness is Christmas music. Somehow, every year I find a new rendition of a song that I must have.

It has looked a lot like Christmas in the stores here too! It's hard to resist such happiness. :)
