I'm still laughing at Woody's comment! Anyway, all the gold/yellow is very appealing. And yes, your comment made sense and I take it as a nice compliment :)
La classe ! On dirait du Yves St Laurent (costumes et pierres) d'une certaine époque, net, sobre sans fioritures En guise de tapis rouge des feuilles rousses, c'est pour donner un aspect un peu "négligé c'est humain"...
Very nice and inviting. As always we have some but are mostly not open to the public. The only one of any use for a tourist is a small gazebo in Town Hall square.

I have walked through those doors! It's a great place to discover that Versaille is more than just the palace.
Interesting. Kinda looks like Monsieur Molière had an accident. LOL
J'ai souvenir m'y etre rendu en ete et il y avait du monde a faire la queue.
LOL on the comment from Woody. I had to look a second time to see what he was referring too.
Interesting shot. Never been there tho.
this is a wonderful door, the colors the art... doors is a wonderful theme.
Well, then, that's for me. I wish it had been handy on the day we couldn't find our way back to the RER station from the palace.
Ok now I know where to go. Nice shot!
I like the glass doors. A mix of modern and ancient.

amusant qu'il est choisit Moliere pour représenter la ville plus-tôt que le roi soleil
An important place for many, I'm sure.
Another Wednesday--another doorway. This one looks very modern and fancy.

The modernity of the door speaks of efficiency, while the old building retains the local charm.
un peu trop moderne pour versailles
An important place to check out for every tourist! :)
I'll have to pay a visit when I am next there - very impressive doorway. xxxx
Seems so different from the others you have shared.
Someday, I would like to enter that door. Very nice, Ciel.

Certainly looks inviting!
Comme Olivier: salués par Molière, certes, mais il est où, le roi?!!
The door and the side panels certainly suit a toursim office.
Woody wins the day with his comment!
