Winter trees place Hoche

I loved the shape of those trees on classical Place Hoche.

The limbs of the trees are graceful and I like the way you let us see through to the blue door.

I found you blog through the comment you left about the Arabian horses on Scottsdale (Arizona, USA) Daily Photo. You have started a wonderful site. Congratulations. I have been to Versailles twice, but have only walked the several blocks from the train station to the palace.

You are correct about the statement that you made that St. Louis, Missouri is in deed named after your Saint Louis. I lived in St. Louis from age 12 to 18. There is a large equestrian statue of Saint Louis in front of the grand entrance to the St. Louis Art Museum.

I agree, elegant branches reaching up to the sky.

I like that blue door, too!

A very dramatic photo. Great contrast between the lines of the trees and the lines of the buildings in the background.

Good job!

I agree with you. Those dark, bare trees are very dramatic. Love the blue door too!

Don't forget to vote for the April theme! We get two choices this time, thanks to Elaine. Please help spread the word too.

Trees in winter are beautiful in a different way than they are in the full bloom of summer. Plus, the bare branches open up normally hidden views.

Still entirely transparent. I guess a month from now you couldn't catch this view.

This is great, Ciel, and really pops when enlarged! Thanks!
