Treacherous slush

Coming home from grocery shopping on Place Charost last Saturday. The little old lady made it safely to the other end of the street.
To answer some of your questions, snow in the north of France shouldn't be something unusual though it seems to have become so... Last time we had this much snow was in 2005. Let's say we enjoy it very much so long as it doesn't entail absolute chaos -which it often does!
Today incidentally we have gale force winds and temperatures are on the rise. Strange sudden weather changes...

We have come to know that scene well having had lived on the prairies where snow and slush was predominent especially towards spring. Winds can make it very uncomfortable.

@Bergson : j'ai pas ça en stock, le vent vient d'Ouest... :-)

Comment, comment?

Looks like it was pretty miserable with all that slush.
