A circle of very British looking benches and a magpie that turned around just when I took the picture! But where are the people? Well, like I said, the park was closed for some reason, so this was taken through the gates.
--------------
Un cercle de bancs très british et une pie qui s'est tournée juste au moment où j'ai pris la photo ! Mais où sont les gens ? Eh bien, le parc était fermé, cette photo a été prise par les grilles.

Oh my that looks so gorgeous. Most of our green grass is still hidden beneath snow.
C'est trop beau! On veut rentrer!
cela donne une version automnale du parc, et une invitation a s'assoir sur un des bancs pour lire un livre
Nice photography. I like the scene you photographed and can picture it with lots of people.

That's a gorgeous photo, especially enlarged - it's really clear and crisp. I agree, it does look rather British!
Beautiful photos.. Thank you for posting to my blog.. now I have found yours.. When I was in Paris, I did not get out to Versailles so this will have to substitute until I return.
This looks like a pleasant park. I wonder why this is closed.
A very fine photograph...can you tell me what the difference is between a British bench and a French bench? I've never before thought benches has national tendencies.
Even through the gates it's already beautiful! Must be even more wonderful inside.
It's a beautiful photo. The grounds are lovely and inviting too. Except for the bare trees it already has the feel of summer.
@ Jacob: these benches look a bit British though the real ones are a little different, whereas most French benches would be more like the one you can just about spot through the snow here: http://versaillesdailyphoto.blogspot.com/2009/02/shades-of-grey-and-white.html
