Last Sunday I introduced you to the very typical scouts of Versailles. So today, I can't resist posting this one, which was taken in front of the cathedral. Again the faces are voluntarily slightly blurred. Have a great Sunday!

C'est dimanche... à Versailles sur le parvis de la cathédrale. Comme la semaine dernière, les visages sont volontairement légèrement floutés. Bon dimanche !

I like the blurred effect on this shot.
I like it, too. I'm enjoying your photos of the area since I missed Versaille on my trip this year.. I will definitely visit the next time I go to Paris.
The blurred effect makes it look like something from the 1940s or 50s! Lovely photo!
Nice scene, but.. aren't they cold with the naked legs??
Very nice. I like the overall tone and color tonality of the photo; it has a dream-like quality about it.
a very warm and friendly scene. great photo. I am glad you have been enjoying the Arabian horses on my website. thanks
Thanks for your visit and comment. I hope those young scouts are not cold wearing those short pants!
I thought the same thing Fio and Chuck did: they must be cold! Fun shot.
Les scouts toujours prêts et jamais froids !!
Love the soft focus around the boys it does give it a timeless qaulity.
I wonder what the adult is carrying? It looks like he may be the scout master and he carrying a pole with ribbons on it. In the US the achievements of scouts is shown by the award of badges which are sewn onto their uniforms.
Interesting. Are they coming from or going to church or to a scout meeting?
Oh my goodness, bare legs on a snow covered ground! Blurring the photo gave it such a soothing effect. I wouldn't have thought of doing that, great idea.
A great atmospheric photo with the soft colors of last winter days.
PS. I passed your good wishes to Lukas. Thank you.
I'm wondering what the scouts are doing and where they are going.
