Jardiniers en herbe

I had forgotten to show you this picture which I took at the end of June in Madame Elisabeth's domain. It seems that the pupils of nearby Condamines primary school have their own little plot there! Shame that most of the veg will be ripe during school holidays!

I think you need to help them while they are on holiday, as long as you can enjoy some of theit work.

'Tis a cute little garden. Perhaps the kids can pick the goodies and have a sale to make some money for the school when things ripen. That should be worth at least one day out of the classroom!

No way to do this when I was a kid! By the way, what is Condamine? I know it is a street and I know Bazille's painting of his studio there, but does it mean something?
