First day of the month is Theme Day: 'under construction'. So, last Sunday, I drove off in the car, I knew something under construction would be hard to find. Restoration or renovation would have been easy-peasy, but not construction. I drove, drove, drove and finally saw this scene in Notre-Dame neighbourhood. I believe there's a hole behind the construction fence destined to keep prying eyes and feet out. The blue door at the end of the street is Notre-Dame cemetary which you can find by clicking on the 'graveyard' label below. Happy June! Construction sites don't look this nice in Canada. The colour of the fence makes such a difference, and the neighbourhood (including the cemetery) is beautiful.

Only the French could make a construction scene look so elegant, or it might be the way you've captured it Ciel, really enjoyed the Viennese music that accompanied your image.
Lovely hording, Ciel. In Sydney many construction sites have viewing platforms to encourage the public to have a 'sticky-beak'.
I was going to say the same as Julie, as there is ususally an obsevation hole for passers by to have a peak.
The nice fence and sign are promise of things to come.

interesting colors. A few years ago, a similar fence was used around a graveyard because they were relocating the graves. Bad karma.
Construction is easy to find here, just drive on any road :-(

If it's hard to find a construction site in Versailles it must mean buildings are not getting knocked down and rebuilt as they often do elsewhere. Good news. Lovely photo -you got just the right angle. Love the green panels!
Gotta love your persistence... I can almost see you behind the wheel swearing for some construction site to show up... :-D But how great is it that you live without that blight!
