ah nous sommes tout les deux dans le cheval aujourd'hui ;))
I really love the ironwork in Versailles, stunning doorway.
This means horse's head, doesn't it? So, why does it have antlers??? I am not up on heraldic interpretations, I guess.
It's a fantastic gated doorway with great details above and wonderful craftsmanship on the metal gate!
I would never have put those two photos together, not sure which I like best. This is a wonderful view beyond the door, but the angle of your link is stunning.
Glimpses through such beautiful gates as these always fascinate me Ciel, what goes on behind here??
It must be top secret.
Une belle entree et une jolie lumiere dans la cour interieure.
The outside is a bit dark while the private courtyard is flooded in sun. I want in.
Tres fine cette porte accentuee par la lumiere douce.
I always like details and thi one is beautiful, like the whole doorway.
The back light makes the gate glow golden.
how wonderful that depth of light in the background.
You made me feel dizzy when I looked at the detail shot! LOL! It's a gorgeous entraceway. As to uploading photos today, I managed to do it on a second attempt, I guess Blogger is having some problems... again!
Outstanding detail of the horse in this doorway! And the gate is huge!Léia
Tu es vraiment sure que ton cheval n'est pas un cerf ou un daim?.. regarde de plus près..Ceci dit, belle lumière pour cette photo!
An elegant doorway which you captured in perfect light... Bises,Genie
Yes, when I got back from my trip I was kind of surprised at just how many doors and windows I had shot while there! But you guys do doorways so good it was hard to resist!
It's a lovely entrance.
Is this an entrance into the courtyard? Lovely!
Beautiful Horse's head entrance. Of course a horse's head in your bed is a horse of a different color entirely:)
