WOW!!! Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe it, and even in my monolingual life "tres belle!" doesn't even cover this photo. Just...wow.

And another "wow" for being the first to comment on my friend's post. :)

That is a very pretty scene. the chandelier looks like fireworks exploding.

It's amazing how the reflection fades away and you can see inside. And inside is so amazing.

My youngest son spied the car and informs me it is a Bugatti (I'd bet on him being right, he really knows cars ). He also liked the chandelier and proclaimed "It must have cost a fortune!"

Now that is a warm photo! Golden glow glowing everywhere. Beautiful, Ciel. Is that your little car? It looks perfect for tooling around your town ...

Looks like an elegant "Fancy Nancy" place! I'd feel underdressed in jeans!

A friend of mine stayed here just before New Year's Day. She raved about the view from the hotel and the beauty of the city of Versailles, especially in the Christmas season. Now I get it.

La voiture donne l'échelle et pourtant l'espace semble assez intime. Sans doute une sorte de sas ? As tu commandé un thé ou un chocolat pour attendre tes amis ?

I dont think I'd have swanky enough outfits to stay there - it looks gorgeous

Every detail so lovely. When I first saw the thumbnail photo I thought it was a fire. So glad I was wrong. Very pretty.

Everything about this photo is opulent... the reflections are fascinating and beautiful. I think that you are going to have to take turns driving us around town in that cute little toy car!

Loved seeing the faience of Quimper on Malyss' bench blog. What rich heritage in the making of these pieces.

Bises,
Genie

Beautiful photo. I just discovered this on Weekend Reflections, although I am already familiar with your other blog. This is a bonus - we are planning to be in Versailles in early April, so now we can look at your photos to help us make decisions!
