On 21 December 2010, this is where I spent the evening: the royal chapel at the palace. Why? Well, there is a huge clue in the first photo...

That was a very important date for me, too!
I very dense. The only thing I can figure is that you were part of the orchestra!
Lovely place. We were not allowed in when we visited...next time!
Re your question on Ocala DP: No, I didn't ask their permission...I just took the pic.
Beeautiful!
There must have been a concert on December 21.

I love this chapel! This is the place Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI was married. I have never saw it with modern chairs. I hope the concert was great!
I assume you were in the orchestra, or narrating the performance, or conducting the orchestra, or enjoying the performance as a spectator.
I am sure this was a special evening. We have enjoyed several concerts at St. Chapelle in Paris, but never in the chapel in Versailles.
gorgeous. now i want to hear the music
Lovely setting. Maybe you are a musician and part of the performance that evening?
Wow, what a place to see or participate in a concert! The fresco is amazing!
Bet it was a wonderful evening. How beautiful.
Well, from the music on your blog, you love classical music, and from the seating in the first photo, music is going to be played, so you were at a concert!!!
(I will leave it to the others to figure out your role . . . conductor, performer, photographer of the performance, music critic, stage manager, or that revered role, audience member.)
How heavenly that must have been. I dream of being in an authentic atmosphere like this.
Orchestra and singers? Must have sounded heavenly in there.
Woaw, quel lieu magnifique! Beauté impressionnante! On est dejà dans l'ambiance avec ta bande-son..:)
la prochaine fois que je viens lire ton blog, je mets la robe de soirée!

You must have been singing or playing an instrument.
What a FANTASTIC place!!
How beautiful! As everyone else is wondering, I am too. Were you in the orchestra or...??

I hope the concert was good! I bet the acoustics are nice. What a beautiful spot for listening to some classics.

We never got to see inside the palace on our visit. It was a lovely day and so much to see outside! Good reason for another visit. xxx
Got goosebumps just imagining the sound of this organ, it must be heavenly!
God bless you!
