21/12/2010, le lieu

On 21 December 2010, this is where I spent the evening: the royal chapel at the palace. Why? Well, there is a huge clue in the first photo...

That was a very important date for me, too!

I very dense. The only thing I can figure is that you were part of the orchestra!

Lovely place. We were not allowed in when we visited...next time!

Re your question on Ocala DP: No, I didn't ask their permission...I just took the pic.

I love this chapel! This is the place Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI was married. I have never saw it with modern chairs. I hope the concert was great!

I assume you were in the orchestra, or narrating the performance, or conducting the orchestra, or enjoying the performance as a spectator.

I am sure this was a special evening. We have enjoyed several concerts at St. Chapelle in Paris, but never in the chapel in Versailles.

Well, from the music on your blog, you love classical music, and from the seating in the first photo, music is going to be played, so you were at a concert!!!

(I will leave it to the others to figure out your role . . . conductor, performer, photographer of the performance, music critic, stage manager, or that revered role, audience member.)
