Le chien au bassin de Neptune

Someone was having fun last Saturday in the Palace grounds, in front of Neptune's basin. For a summer view, click here.

Oh brrrrrr! That sure looks different from when we visited! Dogs don't seem to mind the cold too much...our daughter's Golden in Colorado loves to romp through snow that is almost over his head!

It does look cold and damp too. But it is always fun to walk the dog. MB

I read today that you are expecting *more* snow??!!

Fido looks quite happy, I'm not so sure about the owner.

Better the dog than me. You have all the snow and we have all the grayness. Which is fine for now, since my son is driving down from Chicago on Friday.

It looks VERY cold there. Nasty.

I haven't been shopping that much. Just out looking for pictures to take.

Walking the dog in freezing weather, even if it is in Versailles, doesn't sound like fun. Now, being inside a nice café and watching someone walk a dog is something I'd happily do. Any break in the weather expected soon?

bisous

Most dogs I've seen out are having a great time in the snow. Hopefully we have had the last of the snow for a while.

Shocking, this is another place which I associate with scorching sun...

That cute dog is having fun at snow there!
Wonderful capture!
I tried to go outside with little Luna but you know...she really hated the snow!
I understand!
Better stay inside and take long naps near the central heating! LOL

If I were there I'd be as blue as your photo! brrr....

I like the blue-ish tint of the snow. I am enjoying the cold weather here in Berlin. I'd forgotten what a real winter is like!

I still remember the summer view but I had to click to see the difference... And what a difference it is!

I wonder if my "Florida" lab would like the snow. I think so, she likes romping in anything, especially if it makes her wet!

What a nice scene. I love to see people all bundled up outside with man's best friend. Hope that ice isn't too thin!

Cold fun! The dog doesn't seem to mind though.
