I agree re the color - there is a certain elegance to it which is not hurt, of course, by being attached to such a gorgeous building and under such a fine balcony!
Sage green is one of my very favourite colours. I admit I like a LOT of colours, but sage green is very close to the top. :) This doorway is quite elegant, I think.
I do too, as I do everything you show! Your comment about wanting to peel the paint off the building made me laugh, I have a friend who likes to do that to trees when the bark is coming off...a strange desire :)
"Vert sauge" ? Tu m'en diras tant, j'aurais cru "vert de gris" plutôt à Versailles (ou loden), et je trouve que la couronne est harmonieusement assortie
A lovely color and lovely door and lovely photo, Ciel. This would probably be considered a simple doorway in Versailles, but it is unassumingly elegant.

I think that's a very underrated color, it's great and it complements the building very well.
#13? Are you superstitious? Me neither.
Louis l'aime aussi!

En bel harmonie avec la bâtisse, je n'ose dire l'immeuble.
For the winter I think I would paint it a more flashy color. Then back to the green in Spring. Nice looking enterance.
Sauge--love it--the French I mean. LOL
Do you have a picture of St. James Cathedral's front doors? In Seattle I mean? They are beautiful. I took some pics but of course can't find them. MB
I have learned a new color and I like it!

LOVE that color too.

Le melange des langues donne un "vert sage", calme et doux, qui va bien avec l'ambiance hivernale..
Very classy door :-D
Such a pretty door in a lovely color to set off another beautiful building.
Me too! I want to paint my dining room green; plan to in the next month or so. I wish my house looked like this, though! :)
