Weekend Reflections: porte dans porte

A door is reflected in another door for James' Weekend Reflections. This is the door of the hôtel du Cheval Rouge and the reflected door is of a wine shop. Both belong to a building that once housed the king's outfitters. The hotel I was showing you here.
-----------------------

If the shop sold Red Horse wine, I'd probably buy it.

Very nice. I like the greens and white, as well as the angels above each door. So, what does cieldequimper mean? I put it into a translator and it came back as "cieldequimper" in English. I doubt it . . .

So that's why they have the same sculpture above the door! Love the deep green color of the door :-D

Happy friday!

I had to do a double take. It almost seemed like the door was reflecting itself.

Thanks for the option for the "large size view", it's wonderful, the lamps reflections are outstanding!

I almost couldn't tell what was reflection and what wasn't! This is a perfect shot for Weekend Reflections!

Interesting reflection in your photo! :)

I used my broken French to get sky of Quimper, but I understood Quimper as the pottery and that confused me. Merci beaucoup.

Love this little slice of your world. A charming door but I would expect no less from Provence, of course. :-)

Thanks for your visit to my blog.

Ciao,
Gina

Hi Ciel,
I like this reflection very much. I was interested by the figure over the door, and then I noticed the reflected figure in the door! This is a very clean, detailed reflection and you captured it well.
