A door is reflected in another door for James' Weekend Reflections. This is the door of the hôtel du Cheval Rouge and the reflected door is of a wine shop. Both belong to a building that once housed the king's outfitters. The hotel I was showing you here.

A wonderful example of a truly elegant door! And, naturally, a superb reflection! j'adore!
Lovely photo. That doorway is amazing!
If the shop sold Red Horse wine, I'd probably buy it.
Very nice. I like the greens and white, as well as the angels above each door. So, what does cieldequimper mean? I put it into a translator and it came back as "cieldequimper" in English. I doubt it . . .
So that's why they have the same sculpture above the door! Love the deep green color of the door :-D
Happy friday!
Beautiful and wonderful and lovely reflection shot.
Excellent reflection. I like the colors too. MB
Amazing detail. This is why I love you blog!
J'aime bien la mise en abîme.. une porte dans une porte..
ça me rappelle une pochette des Pink Floyd!
I like the idea of the reflection of a door within another door.
Great reflection! Wonderful details above the doors.
Love the colours and the reflections here.
I'm struck by the detail above the door.
Such brilliant detail - and I love a good wine shop. xxx
I had to do a double take. It almost seemed like the door was reflecting itself.
Beautiful!!!!
Thanks for the option for the "large size view", it's wonderful, the lamps reflections are outstanding!
Hugs

Well spotted, Ciel, beautiful shot!
So you saved your door for the reflections day. This one is really nice, alot to see. And I like the deep green.
Such a soft and delicate photo for this time of year. Lovely.
Beautiful reflections and what a treat to see the architectural details of that door mirrored! (Thanks for the link, also)
Bon weekend,
Genie
Intéressant et beau ... Merci !
A door in a door...
A very nice concept and well executed.
Terrific reflection and a fantastic capture as always, Ciel! No one does them better! Have a great weekend!

I almost couldn't tell what was reflection and what wasn't! This is a perfect shot for Weekend Reflections!
Interesting reflection in your photo! :)
I used my broken French to get sky of Quimper, but I understood Quimper as the pottery and that confused me. Merci beaucoup.
Such a beautiful shot -the colors make it look intimate!
deux themes à la fois porte et réflexion
Great and interesting shot. I really like the color of the door and its frame.
Perfect - I really like how you have composed the picture.
Love this little slice of your world. A charming door but I would expect no less from Provence, of course. :-)
Thanks for your visit to my blog.
Ciao,
Gina
The color of the door and the leaf of the sculpture matches! The reflection is so crisp and clear, perfect capture!
@ Pagan Sphinx: Provence? Wow, now that would be cool!
joli reflet !
Autant d'invitations à pousser cette porte.
Through the lookingglass . . .
enter!
Hi Ciel,
I like this reflection very much. I was interested by the figure over the door, and then I noticed the reflected figure in the door! This is a very clean, detailed reflection and you captured it well.
