Aux mousquetaires

The musketeers... I have no idea what this used to be, it's all that's left of an establishment on Place Charost.
--------------------------------
Je ne sais pas ce que fut ce lieu, tout ce qu'il en reste sont ces deux mots sur la façade d'un immeuble Place Charost.

Maybe the that Disney mouse group stayed there at one time?

This is one of my favorite photos...I like the subject - moody and mysterious; the lamps which lead you into the building and the soft focus that wraps everything up!

Perhaps a combination bar and firing range. Come to think of it, that would be very popular in this country.

Interesting. Not sure what type of shop it could have been.

I like this composition: an evocative half-faded sign and two lamp posts- I know musketeers roamed these streets once! Or not...

J'aime l'ambiance de cette photo! ton cadrage la met hors du temps, moi j'imagine une ancienne taverne où se rencontraient Athos, Porthos, Aramis et ..d'Artagnan!Un pour tous, tous pour un!:)

The lamp post against the building offers an interesting contrasts between former and present lives. Will it remain vacant, I wonder, or will it be reclaimed for some other use? The windows still look in good shape.

A fine photo. Restaurant perhaps?

...all for one and one for all. Now, that's a good code to follow. Love the pastels in this one.

The fading font is dreamy and the composition is just perfect.

The music sounds great to me. I wonder about the building, as you do. Who looked out of those windows.

Un cafe, un restau? L' endroit ou ils se retrouvaient pour une pinte ou deux?

Wonderful photo and what a bit of intrigue not knowing the history! We guess tavern/restuarant.

Something here appeals to me. I probably would have passed by the fading letters without noticing them, but you have made them worth a look. Good job.

Really interesting subject! The letters are magnificent. I imagine it would be pretty cool inside too.

I love this photograph, so soft. I also love your added music. It's been a while since I've been in the blogger's world.

This is sooooo beautiful!
Composition- colors, light and details.
Nice photo and could have been a perfect "location" for a film too.
