Au-dessus du graffiti...

Howdy folks, I'm back, thanks for your comments while I was away! In desperate need of new photos so there will be a few August and September pictures for you in the coming days, maybe even older ones. This is the sculpture that sits snugly right above the graffiti I was showing you on Theme Day. I have no clue who this is... I wonder if it's Marie-Antoinette...

Coucou, me revoilou !

Welcome back! A marvelous piece of marble artwork!

Well, I think I blew it. I feel much like Marie-Antoinette must have felt looking out the window at the Seine...disconsolate that she made so many egregious errors!

So, who'd think you'd be posting while you were in the PNW? Not I!

But it's nice to have you back even if you don't know the person who you busted on your blog!

I know you had a great time and I'm looking forward to your photos from that beautiful area...

Hope that all goes well!

I'm sure it's good to be home! You know, I have some photos I have ready from the same time frame, but I always seem to trump them with something newer.

It's a beautiful sculpture.

Welcome back to regular posting. I'm sure you had a good time in our Northwest. Could this be her majesty? The style of dress is so informal. Maybe she was out at the Trianon playing shepherdess.

Hmmmmm, I thought she lost her head. . .

you mean you were HERE and didn't tell me? Oh well, you came to see the guy who is important I reckon. I have a new blog because I have no camera and am using my favorite benches, many of which were never published yet.

Welcome back. You'd never imagine there's graffiti right below her. Hope you had a nice respite.

I think you were posing for an artist while you were gone. This is product of that sitting.

Whoever it is, she has a cool hat!

Bonjour! Re your comment on The Villages...those two guys were much younger than a lot of people...but both the town squares in Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing are open to the public, so you'll often seen a lot of young people in these places (especially at certain times of the year when they're visiting grandparents)...

Good to see that local vandals have stayed away from this sculpture.

Ain't no place like home, right?
