Wednesday Doorway: rue Neuve Notre Dame

There are many blue doorways in Versailles... Yet only few of them have a blue Mini parked right opposite!
-----------------------

It's not fair, I have been looking for something like this for months. Ever thought of cheating with the car of a friend, but I found no matching colors... Brava!

Timing is everything! It's too bad there wasn't a woman walking by in a blue dress, too!

Oh very neat--blue on blue.

BTW--the girls cleaned up after themselves---well as much as teenagers do. MB

It must be nice to see a lot of blue doorways around town. Very pretty. I love the reflection in the mini - and the color!

Are you standing on your tiptoes to take this picture or are minis really that small.

Interesting to think of all the other 'blue' thinks that might have been in the photo;blue dress, blue sky, etc.

Why so many blue doors in Versailles? I guess because many people like blue? I have never paid attention, but I doubt there are many blue ones in East Gwillimbury.

Cute! We don't get many blue doorways or blue Minis around here. I could let you pose my blue Beetle though, although it's a much darker blue.

@ Antjas: it is that low and small! It's a 'mini' after all!

@ EG: good question, I'm not sure. Blue was a symbol of the French monarchy though.

Very nicely captured. I wonder why all the blue doorways. Is blue the traditional color in France?
