Les ateliers de la cour du Plessis

Cour du Plessis Versailles
VDP has been to this courtyard several times but was always unhappy with her pics. Still is...
Not very well known in Versailles, it is located at the end of a passage which has been featured here on Artsy Versailles. Unfortunately, most of the unusual (architecturally speaking) little shops are closed on the weekend when VDP roams the city...

Tiles and cobblestones--two of my favorite building materials.

Quite delightful and quite elegant!

We probably all have places we have visited and photographed often and never really got "the" photograph we expected to find there. I know I have.

What an interesting little corner. That architecture is so different from what we usually see in your city.

I really like the first and last you, shouldn't be to hard on yourself. Having said that I'm rarely satisfied but then I expect that's what keeps us trying...have a good Sunday.....

I love to explore those little alley's, there are always treasures to be found. It's a shame they are not open when you visit.

I can see why you like this area. It looks really cute and quaint. Now I understand why the painting shop was closed both times you were there. :)
