Boy, that's one big pile of leaves. Beautiful shot.

The big pile of leaves has a great face in it, do you see it? The eyes are closed and it has a big grin (maybe I'm delirious from work).

I'd hate to have to clean up that many leaves, it must take forever.

Aus dem innersten. Muss also gut und schön sein.

I can see the same face Woody mentioned, so he's not delirious.
I love the photo of the mushroom between the two leaves. It almost looks like another leaf at first glance.

This looks like a land in a fairy tale, not quite real, not quite solid.

Cela ressemble à un terrain dans un conte de fée, pas tout à fait réel, pas assez solide.

Both of these photos are spectacular. I love the color of the trees and how the eye is drawn past the pile of leaves into the distance. The second photo is a piece of art!

Wow that is a big pile of leaves. Did you jump into it?

Edible champignon?
I would have a hard time to distinguish and pick up the right ones, they all look so alike to me... I think I'd end up eating deadly stuff... Oops... :)
God bless you!

@ Woody and Kay: I'm glad you noticed the face! I was wondering if you would!

@ Randy: maybe I should have!

Quel plaisir de te suivre pour vivre l'automne par blog interpose!
Les feuilles s'annoncellent pour le plaisir des uns, le gagne pain des autres et le bonheur des "sans automne" comme moi...

Yes I see 'the face of Autumn past' also Ciel, very well done, and there still seems to be more leaves to come from the trees. The second image is just too perfect, when you pull it in close it's just delightful! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Wow, not that is one huge pile of leaves. Kinda like I have going in my drive way. I let them build up and use them for mulch. Sweet shrooms. MB

Fall colors at their best. Nothing so colorful here...

Oh, so lovely. It looks more like a scene from a forest than an avenue in Versailles.

Impish me would like to step in and dance in those leaves! You're eyes were keen to see that tiny mushroom hiding under the fallen leaves...

What an amount of dead leaves. Fantastic! And here is the Oeiras mushrooms' french cousin. :-)

PS. That would be YOUR eyes... what was I thinking? Ugh!
