oui ca se fait rare, cela doit etre maintenant une voiture de collection. Elle semble tres bien conservée
This is the first I've ever heard of DAF cars and trucks.
Cute little car for cute little people : )
Oh, I have seen these once in a while on the streets of KL ...
Well, Ciel, you are way ahead of me. Not only have I not seen a DAF car, I have never heard of them!
What a cute little car. I had never heard of it, either, so I looked it up on Google. I'm always learning new things this way. Someone mentions it on a blog, and I'm very curious, so I have to check it out.It was very interesting to find out about this little Dutch car.Kay, Alberta, CanadaAn Unfittie’s Guide to Adventurous Travel
Interesting I have seen pictures of these cars years ago but never knew their name or origin. Cute.
Cou cou!Mon blog de voyages est en lice pour le concours Elle.frSi tu peux laisser quelques votes icihttp://www.elle.fr/Site/Grand-Prix-des-Blogueuses-ELLE-2011/(blog)/elisa-origamiCela serait super!MerciBisousElisa, Argentine
I don't think I've ever seen one of these before. I really enjoy unusual cars and this fits the bill, thanks for sharing. It's in really good shape, obviously well cared for.
Yes, I dimly remember these. I wondered why they didn't spell it DAFT.
Never heard of it but I would sure love one in red!
Like the others I hadn't heard of it either. It reminds me of the Fiat 500. Or one of those early 60s Renault. The leaf on the hood is perfectly placed.
I think Daf was bought by Volvo. They were automatic with an unusual gaerbox.
un collector bien conservé
"I WANDER'D lonely as a cloudThat floats on high o'er vales and hills,When all at once I saw a crowd,A host, of golden daffodils;Beside the lake, beneath the trees,Fluttering and dancing in the breeze."William Wordsworth.
Hahaha... it's almost inconceivable that people don't know this cutie. I grew up with the Daf, of course, although our family never had one. Haven't seen one in a while either, but in Bucharest I saw a few vintage Ford Anglias.
It is adorable! Perfect for finding parking places in small spots.
Like those above, I had never heard of DAF. Maybe that is part of why their a not many of their vehicles around.
I have to confess that I've probably never seen them before:) Love the light in your photo!
Thanks for the link, Ciel! I had not heard of DAF trucks or cars. This looks much like a Renault or Opel from the 50s.
Etant nulle en connaissance cote voitures c'est une premiere pour moi...
Now that's a very cute little 'retro' car Ciel, well done to spot such a rare find!
ça ne nous rajeunit pas! j'aimais bien les voitures a cette epoque, elles avaient toutes une personnalité différente..
There was a time, about thirty years ago, that these cars weren't unusual here.
Je me demande si je n’ai jamais vu une de-celles-la. Elle me rappel d’un Trabi ! :)
That is a cool car! I would love to have one, it would be perfect for our narrow roads.Sharon
