Vitraux de la cathédrale Saint-Louis

Stained glass inside Saint-Louis cathedral. T. Becque of Tucson, AZ thought the second photo was cool, so here it is!

T. Becque de Tucson, Arizona m'a dit qu'elle trouvait la seconde photo sympa, alors la voici !

Second shot is interesting, but I like the light in the first.

yes, the angles and light in both of these seems other-worldly.

The first shot is the winner, I think, because of the composition and the light...but the second shot has a certain aura - almost like a spirit hanging in the air!

I'm going with the first photograph, Ciel. I like the color, the content and the composition.

The first shot has some wonderful color.

I was hoping to see these stain glass windows after the peak you showed the other day. They proved to be worth the wait. That second photo is outstanding.

The color and angle of the first photo is striking.

My favorite stained glass church is St. Chapelle in Paris. It is an architectural jewel.

On en a souvent besoin de ce genre de lumiere. Belle prise au bon moment.

Personally, I like the angle and light of the first, but they are both excellent.

Re your comment on Colorado: I looked all over for Brad, but never did see him. Then someone told me he was in France with Angelina. Didn't you see him there?

Cheesecake in the oven! Sheesh! Now, you're making me hungry! And I just finished lunch!

Great pieces of art. The way light gets inside the cathedral is not common. Warm colours give sense and essence to the place.

Very pretty, I like it.

Still without a computer so I have to look pitiful and borrow. Woe is me. MB

I do like the second still! There's something spiritual about it, like a heavenly body radiating through the window!

Hmmm... nice, but to me they look like painted glass, not stained (too many shadings for stained).
