A double decker bridge linking two parts of an administrative building in Chantiers neighbourhood for Sunday Bridge Series. There is another bridge on Artsy Versailles today.

How lucky you are having such a bridge. Always a safe step ahead and a good Sunday for you as well.

this is a nice and airy connection - far preferable to tunnels connecting buildings!

Great for days when it's wet or cold outdoors!

Very clever! It's a beautiful bridge too!

I remember the Minneapolis city fathers did this kind of thing, even crossing over streets, in downtown Minneapolis years ago...a terrific idea when it is bitter cold and snowy!

It is odd seeing a modern office building on VDP. But, it is an attractive one.

That is very handy to have a "walkway" when it is cold--much better than facing an icy wind or cold rain in your face. Nice shot!. Mickie

I love the light passing through the bridges!

Mies lives. Not the kind of architecture the world expects from Versailles.

The blue and aqua tones to this shot are awesome. Love the linear qualities to it, too. A very nice post this week.

I like the way the light shines through creating the shadows.

Yes, a strange building for VDP, but interesting all the same.

That's pretty unusual, a double-deck bridge, no?
Pretty.

I like the straight lines of this photo. Very orderly today.

You captured this at the perfect moment with the light streaming through the glass.
