I would title the photo, "Wonderful windows" - I love the architectural style and colors!

You live in such a pretty city, Ciel. The blue window and shutters of the foreground house are nice, but the brick and iron embellishments and curved corner in the background building are really good.

Country song:

I Got The Thursday Morning Blues

I got the Thursday morning blues
Looking in the window
Of the house there on the corner
We once lived together...

I wondered what went on now
Behind those blue, blue shutters
And whether he was kind
And loves you like I used to
Before I lost my mind
To my old friend
Jack Daniels...

And do you ever think of me
When you look out the windows
Framed by blue, blue shutters
On a blue Thursday morning?

And do you see reflected the
Man who still adores you
Standing on the corner
Beyond the blue framed windows...?

(Repeat the last four lines with steel guitar weeping and then fade...)

Okay, I did my part. Now you write the music!

A hard assignment, since, at best, all we know about Versailles is the RER station and the palace. So, um,

Blue Vue

Boxes, Cylinders and Rain

Toto, I Don't Think We're In Kansas Any More

Or, in a play on some old American real estate advertising, If You Lived Here You'd Be Home By Now.

une belle perspective et un beau choix d'angle pour faire cette photo

I hope this doesn't sound bad, but that building is just cute! Kind of short looking and prettily decorated.

"carie" - you've reminded me that I forgot to make my dentist appointment :(

I love the eyebrows above the windows. MB

A lesson in geometry as I like the juxtaposition of the rectangular windows with blue shutters to the towering circular building at the left. The contrast is lovely! Due to the photographer of course.

Framed in blue....

"piano keys" from the outstanding brickwork above the windows.

I am not so good at this... I like that round corner of a building, with the blue shutters in foreground.

Somehow it reminds me of the bow of a ship...not sure why with all those gorgeous windows. The color in the brickwork is beautiful.

Clever girl asking your readers to come up with a title. Sometimes photo captions are so difficult and other times they just pop into your brain and onto the keyboard. I guess I would simply title this "Windows." When in doubt, go with the mundane and try not to be too clever.

I do like the yellow and blue colors.

I love how the building curves around the corner like that. How nice it must be on the inside, too!

I'd be insane to try to top Jacob... or Bob... But I'd sure enjoy a walk in this area.
