it must be a wonderful shadow behind the door when the sun sends its light through the window above.

I love the grillwork in the door. The window seems a little overwhelming for that door. I do wish we had Baroque here, though. I love it (or whatever it is).

Images like this once again make «Louis» wish he were in France. He did a series on his old blog about Paris doorways.

I like it, too. A beautiful entry to what appears to be a very fine home.

No explanations are necessary. It is a beautiful doorway, and the window over the door is gorgeous too.

Very, very elegant. There is a pleasing rhythm to the shapes of the building's facade.

I think the window is totally wonderful. I wonder what door and window look like from the inside.

There is something enticing about a doorway. Perhaps it is the portal to sparkly France for us!

I love the oval window above the door.

I love the Wednesday door series. You could have a great collage of these.

The gold tones are beautiful.

Very pretty door. I especially like the window above it.

«Louis» just saw your comment at Small City Scenes about the public transit strike - those all-too-frequent strikes are one thing «Louis» DOESN'T miss about France!
