Someone -I cannot remember who, sorry- once asked me on this blog if all Versailles buildings were old and beautiful. Here's the answer. This is Satory neighbourhood.

Very different building. I like the colorful mosaic.
A picture is worth a thousand words, it has been said by someone...
Nice, modern buildings. At first glance I thought you had polarized the top photo, but now I see they are painted that way. I like very much!
Certainly not what I think of when I consider Versailles, but after all it is a living city, not just a historical display.
Colorful but still looks nice to me. I am wondering what that round knob is in the front of the photo. . .
Tu as raison . . .
Those buildings are so cool. I am glad to see that high rises in your area don't look so sterile, like they do in so many other area.
Not bad, I quite like the modern Versailles. Is it true that Satory is an Army quarter?
@VP : yes, it is. There are several barracks in the immediate vicinity of these buildings. They aren't however, housing only army families.
Very modern, and I bet it is very expensive like the others buildings in Versailles.

Beautiful and fantastic shots !! Unseen Rajasthan
Hmmm. Could be almost anywhere. But after all, people do need a place to live.
Well, they are colorful...
Ah, ha... la banlieue ! Je préfère quand même le vieux quartier.
Interesting. I like how they used the images to improve the plain lines.

Interesting buildings, but I prefer the old, historic buildings of your town. They have more to say.
