Rue de la Paroisse

No permanent damage to the knee, time will heal it. The camera is another story. It was only a small Canon Ixus and it's almost cheaper to buy another one. I'll see to it when I can walk better. In the meantime, more photos taken in May. One of the busiest shopping streets in Versailles is this one, with what I think are lovely classical façades.
---------------------------------------

I hope you feel better soon and have the equipment to bring us more photos of Versailles, like this one. There are few shopping streets like this in the US. Most of have to go to a strip mall.

Well, I am very pleased to know you ultimately will heal up without surgery! Just take it easy and please don't try to run a marathon! Unless its in NYC... ;-)

Cameras - yes, great buys at $200 or get a refurbished Nikon D40 at Adorama for $395.

I like this shot very much, but then I like everything French so sometimes I'm not too discriminating...

Take good care of yourself, please!

I hope your healing time will not be too long.

The houses are nice, especially the one with the stones.

The trouble with traveling is there simply is never enough time. The palace commands a full day, and your city many more days to see the sites. Thank you for this virtual tour. I hope you get plenty of rest and heal your knee quickly.
