Cecilia Bartoli ed Il Giardino Armonico: héroïnes Haendeliennes

Not the very best photo of Cecilia Bartoli but I love the second one! So she sang Georg Friedrich Haendel arias, with passion and tenderness. Her legato is incredible. The orchestra, Il Giardino Armonico was simply brilliant. It was a divine evening. Brava. Carpe Diem.

Carpe Diem.

I'm surprised they allowed photos (or maybe you were extra sneaky). She looks radiant.

I loved yesterday's photo, that anticipation before a concert. How sweet you took your Dad!

Her last name intrigues me. We have several families with the surname Bartoli on the island.
