Wednesday Doorway: rouge

A red door in Chantiers neighbourhood. The whole building is quite nice, isn't it?

Porte rouge à Chantiers. L'immeuble n'est pas mal, n'est-ce pas ?

It's very nice! I like that little smiley thingy above the door...and the decorations on the building between the windows!

I like the copper head above the door, I bet it would make a great piggy-bank ;-)

Yes, Ciel, the red door is impressive, but the brick tilework is what really catches my eye.

I always like red doors, to me they are happy and welcoming.

Absolutely! One of the fanciest doorways ever and the rest of the building is perfectly on line.

I like the door but I'm really enchanted for the brick, the colors there and those windows.By the way, perfect angles in these shots!

..... and I guess I have to poke my camera up too.
Beautiful details and nice warm colors.

Beautiful red doors and the iron over the windows is gorgeous. The decorative brickwork is very nice also and certainly nothing like that is done today - it's far too expensive; or maybe the architects/builders lack an artistic soul.

Ah, herrlich, denn ich liebe Backsteine in ihren natürlichen Farben. Herzliche Grüße von Luzia.

Ah, what a lovely door! I absolutely love the scrollwork of the iron windows, and the bright red is eye-catching.
