Lampadaire joli, joli !

This is my favourite street lamp style! Today on Artsy Versailles: a king reflected.

Et sur Artsy Versailles aujourd'hui : un roi reflété.

I can see why this is your favorite. Very stylish. (Is it really true I'm the first one to post a comment today?! Unheard of!)

It is a beautiful lamp and I see the early signs of spring in the tree behind it. :)

The lamp has a golden crown. Very suitable for VDP.

Re today's photo, I bought the Guinness, set up the photo, clicked, then asked the bartender to give the Guinness to someone else.

This is just a gorgeous photo from any perspective...the composition, the color, the subject matter...I especially like how the tree branches seem to scatter about the sky and the more stable steeliness of the lamp. Great lighting, too!

You win!

That really is a lovely lamp. It's not like most plain ones you see everyday.

I think that's interesting. Most American streetlamps are the usual utilitarian nothing. However, there is an architectural trend towards much nicer design on bridges and overpasses. No idea why just there.

A "VIP" lamp! And the light tree next to it adds to the beauty.

That's very elaborate for a street lamp! Good timing; looks like it will be obscured by leaves soon.

This looks like a page out of a magazine... the trees, the sky and the lamp all work together... excellent!

Bon weekend,

It is a beautiful lamp, and for some reason fits with the branches. I like the crown it is wearing!

It goes nicely with the tracery of the tree branches too. Hope you have a great weekend!
