Mort sur la scène

Death on the stage (no, no, don't worry, it was very hot but it was only for the play!)

La mort sur la scène (non, non ne vous inquiétez pas, il faisait certes très chaud mais ce n'était que pour les besoins de la pièce !)
The stage as you would have seen it! The building in the background is the Administrative Court of Appeals.

La scène telle que vous l'auriez vue ! Le bâtiment en arrière-plan est la Cour administrative d'appel.

To borrow a phrase, death is easy, Moliere is hard.

Quite a different setting for drama!

One would REALLY have to project outdoors.

I think I would have died if I'd have seen that!

Wow, what a shoe! Where, other than in this play, would one wear such a thing?

I bet this was fascinating to watch. The audience isn't large but everyone seems glued to what's going on.

That really is quite a stylish shoe!

J'adore these images Ciel.. the shoe detail is fabulous, that shoe has 'trod the boards' for many years I think.. Williams comment is spot on :)

Clearly a festival to die for ! And, BTW, is that shoe snearing at me !?

Love the close ups and then pulling back to reveal the location. Such a contrast between the stage and the modern building !

I imagine the performers were melting in those heavy looking costumes!

It is morning here, so I'll just say bonjour! Re your comment on The Villages: you're right, they were bored. They saw me taking the picture and could have cared less. The dog was the only thing moving!

Re your comment on Ocala: It could be an Egyptian papyrus, but I think once it has been studied we'll find it's another lost gospel, The Gospel of the Ocalan Gators.

I hope it wasn't for a sunstroke...

I like the close-ups, it's cool how they mask the modern shoes to make them look old.

He looks convincingly dead.

That shoe shot is what caught my eye. When shoes die it's very sad.
