Chapelle Saint François de Sales

Saint Francis de Sales chapel in Grand Siècle/Moser neighbourhood. I have not found any information about this chapel. These photos were taken in July.

Je n'ai pas trouvé d'informations sur cette chapelle de Grand Siècle/Moser, aussi voici juste un lien pour vous rafraîchir la mémoire au sujet de Saint François de Sales. Photos prises en juillet.

Interesting architecture. It almost has an adobe look to it. A sweet little chapel.

Beau graphisme architectural sur ce ciel bleu.
Belles corbeilles de fruits plus bas. C'est appetissant !!

From your first photo, I thought the roof angle was sharp, but in the second photo I see it as relatively flat. This is an interesting way to see how photography can exaggerate features.

Sorry to learn about your tendinitis. I saw something a few weeks ago suggesting you were having a physical problem, but I didn't want to ask. I had tendinitis in my elbow about 15 years ago, and it never healed through rest. Eventually I had surgery (just snipping the tendon) and it has been great ever since. Good luck, whether through healing or snipping.

I agree with Kay it does have a look of adobe or stucco. I love that wood under the overhang.

The chapel seem like quite a contrast from the highrise in the background - smooth versus. jagged, old versus new, white versus well, white (2 out of 3 ain't bad).

The perspective on that first photo is quite interesting and I enjoy seeing the second shot... Great illusion!

Well, it certainly is different and not the kind of architecture I would associate with Versailles! Cute, though!

The modern side of Versailles. The chapel looks utterly different in the top and bottom photos. In the first it points to the heavens. In the second, but for the cross, it could be a public toilet.

Interesting design.

Wow, this is just so different from what I'd expect to see in Versailles, but I'm so glad you showed it because it gives another whole perspective, even though it's not overly decorated it's still a very sweet little chapel and probably very well attended. That sky is incredible! Hope all is well Ciel and that you're not in too much discomfort.

Rien à faire, je n'accroche pas a ces eglises modernes. je ne les trouve pas inspirantes, ni emouvantes, ils leur manque une âme..Mais sur fond de ciel bleu...

I have seen more charming gas stations...

The top shot is fantastic! I was not expecting a building as shown on the smaller pic. Well done, Ciel.

Not as old as some of the more charming places in Versailles. Just saying. :)

Kind of a different look to it. Reminds me of a highway rest stop.

I like the first shot, also - great perspective.

I'm glad Bob said it first. No offense to anyone, but before I read your words, I thought WC. Am also reading for the first time that you're in pain. Sorry to hear that, Ciel. Hope it's fixable, and fast.
