Au Facteur Cheval

For the next few days, I am taking you for a browse at Au Facteur Cheval, an antiques shop and art gallery in Chantiers neighbourhood. I love this trompe-l'œil façade!

Dans les jours à venir, je vous emmène au Facteur Cheval, antiquaire et galerie d'expos à Chantiers. J'adore la façade trompe-l'œil !

This will be fun. On the bottom photo, only the bottom floor is trompe l'oeil, right?

Your capture of the light in the first shot is brilliant, Ciel. An outstanding shot.

Je suis confused Ciel.!! The trompe-l'oeil is so good I'm having a hard time figuring it out. I thought at first that it was the peek inside that was the tl'o, with carefully placed chairs and billboard in front, but is it actually the building itself? Whatever, it is brilliant!! Love antiquing, look forward to seeing more.

Can't wait to see what treasures you'll show us. Antique shops are some of my favorite places to be.

Ce trompe l'oeil est sublime! Le mot "facteur cheval" fait bien sur rever de ce que tu vas nous montrer dans les jours qui vont suivre.

What trompe-l'œil?

That will be extra fun! Neat shop, I like the broken shutter on the front of the building, it disrupts the pattern.

Ooo yeah, I love interesting antiques. The facade is quite convincing, I would not have guessed it was trompe-l'oeil.

I could spend hours (and fortune!) in shops like this! Lovely.

I didn't realize either that it was a trompe l'oeil. Looks like a wonderful shop.

I'd enjoy this cute little place a lot...I like to wander around and look at all the stuff I grew up with! Inevitably, though, someone says to me, "Hey, who let that antique in?"

I am sure that the glimpses you will give us will be wonderful.

I'm thinking your antique shops are a LOT more interesting than the ones we have here. :)
