September City Daily Photo Theme Day: Open Air Market

Until now, I have mostly shown you Notre-Dame market. This is the smaller market held on Saturday mornings in front of Saint-Louis cathedral, for this month's Theme Day. I hope you like cheese, that's where I bought mine last Saturday!
---------------------------------------

Love outdoor markets; love cheese! I seem to recall from my studies that such markets have been held either inside or outside cathedrals in Europe for over a thousand years...or longer...

Re tee shirts - Don't be silly; you didn't offend...but it seems to me they ought to offer tee shirts which would be appropriate for a gent like me...not sure what that would be, though! :-)

I love cheese. It's my guilty pleasure. OK one of them anyway. These images are so beautiful I love them almost as much as cheese.

What a setting for a market! And the selection of cheese, I'd be in heaven!

Ted Bundy - that would give me the creeps; there's some minds I really don't want to get into! :)

Hard to know what to look at first. The beautiful church or the cheese. I'm afraid the cheese would win. I Love cheese.

Oh, that's a mean thing to do to me, Ciel... I LOVE cheese and I especially LOVE French cheeses. I have lots of cheese stories. What a fantastic setting for an open air market.

Thank you, thank you for these beautiful cheeses. I wish I could taste! But I can taste that gorgeous blue sky above the market scene and the beauty of Saint-Louis cathedral. I just love it, from the street lamps to the striped fruit stall. So, is that man filming you while you are taking his photo? :-)

For a joke, I tried clicking Yuck on the Reactions...as if I didn't like cheese - if that's at all possible - but it wouldn't accept it ... hee-hee.
