Notre-Dame du Grandchamp

A statue, of the Virgin Mary I imagine, inside the courtyard of private Notre-Dame du Grandchamp high school in Saint-Louis neighbourhood.

La statue, dont je suppose qu'il s'agit de la Vierge Marie, dans la cour du lycée Notre-Dame du Grandchamp à Saint-Louis.

Nicely composed Ciel, you kept the statue central under the arch with careful judgement of angle of view; fine work.

I like the black and white in this photo. The geometrical designs are highlighted by the B&W.

A very cool b&w. Great light and shadows.

What the heck does Notre-Dame du Grandchamp mean? Our Lady of Grand Champions?

Makes a fine photo.
Interesting how the school teaches a lot in English.

Our Lady of Grandchamp! I was a volunteer with the Communaute de Grandchamp in Switzerland, but I think there is no connection between the two.

Et la question tombe: où est passé le grand champ?..

Nice b&w and I love how the lines suggest perspective behind the statue.

This is wonderful. The Saint Louis neighborhood looks like it has so many great things happening there. In Versailles, yes?

What creates the lines here? Is it metal? Whatever, the photo works very well in B&W.
