I like the balconies! They have personality and provide mroe room!
My photo today has a round building called Smith Towers and is an apartment building with beautiful views of the Columbia River BUT all the rooms are pie shaped and very small!
The round balconies look rather art deco in styling, but the shudders are rather traditional.
It looks like there is a wall down the middle of the balconies, so each apartment would have only a quarter round, which is still better than no balcony. I hope the neighbors aren't noisy or nosy.
I love this building! Hard to believe it is a train station.
Goodness gracious! Lovely photo!
To answer your question, yes, those were names we gave those places as children. There are Bambi's Meadow, Fairywing reflection pool as well as others. We were quite creative as children--and the forest was like a real-life fairytale. The forest is still there and is going to be preserved. No building allowed!
I'll bet it's nice to be on one of those balconies. I do like this one better than April 20. For some reason, it reminds me of Gaudi, but without the Art Nouveau.

I wasn't expecting modern in Versailles, but I guess all cities have it somewhere! I like the silver shutters.
If I lived in a city I would definitely want a balcony. Each of these looks like it's divided, so each space isn't as large as I had at first thought.
Quite a difference from the the usual architecture we see here. Nice though.
I think it's very cool. Love the wrap-around balconies!
What sort of view do they have from those balconies?

I think that is one ugly building. :-) Nice photo...but not digging the architecture.

c'est marrant, cela fait penser a une rampe de parking ;)
Yes, something new and different. I like it.
I like the building, those balconies are huge...
Interesting style. I like the balconies.
Quite a contrast from what we normally enjoy. That's a pretty funky balcony. I like it!

Now in my mind that looks very Parsian. Audrey Hepburn style. I don't know where I am. LOL MB
For a modern building, not bad.

How modern, Ciel - this somehow has an art deco feel to it in «Louis'» view.
Curves in all the right places! :) Creative architecture.
Indeed different from the traditional in Europe, and it even reminds us of buildings you can find in Brazil!
God bless you!

It's nice, but I still prefer the old stuff. :)
Et ce sont de vrais volets!!
Pas comme ici!
