That first shot is majestic!
What beautiful details!
This facade is magnificent! From the doorway to the floral window to the scroll, all the details are amazing.
Thank you for showing us more of the synagogue! I wondered yesterday but didn't ask.
I wasn't expecting a rosette. But it's beautiful. I'm curious about the inscription above the arch. Hope Dina will help us out. A wonderful building.
Super shots. This is much different than the synagogues I've seen in Florida!
That reminds me that I"ve not found a synagogue in Paris. That would be nice to see. This one is lovely. V
La vue d'ensemble en particulier celle du bas est jolie. On ne voit pas beaucoup de synagogue pourtant les juifs que j'ai croise etaient tres croyants.
Hyper jolie ce synagogue. Merci de nous avoir le montrer.
Except for the Torah at the top, who would know that the building is a temple? The religion is not assimilated but the architecture is to a great extent.
As already noted, this has so many similarities to a Christian church, except with some striking differences. I wonder what the rose window looks like from inside?
My first impression was that it was an old Christain church too. I like the framing you used and clouds behind it.
c'est un beau temple avec cet immense vitrail
Beautiful! Worthy of our reverence. MB
Impressive and original building, I like the detail on the rosette glass and the Torah scroll on the top.
A very exquisite building!
It's a very beautiful building.
«Louis» was hoping you would show us a larger view of the synagogue...et voila!
So powerful in the view you have shot this first image. Lovely structure!
A very attractive building. Oops! I asked you a question but then read the answer in yesterday's post before writing in the word verification. (Sometimes I think before I act.)
Evidemment avec la façade c'est plus impressionnant !..
Wow!Sorry I am late in arriving. On the Torah scroll is written the Bible quotation "This is the Torah which God gave to Moses." And below it: "And you shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Merci Dina!I wish we all loved our neighbours as ourselves...
