Well, I'm back from the westernmost part of France. Just this once, here are several photos of what proved to be a rainy holiday. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but five days were simply Monsoon-like.
Every evening the sky was gorgeous. Tous les soirs, le ciel était superbe !
Every morning, the same view changed drastically!
It didn't stop me from going places!
I even enjoyed ze beach! Je suis même allée à la plage !
A holiday like this one involves a lot of reading... Evidemment, j'ai beaucoup lu...

Funny way to describe your holiday: rain, some good books and nice weather at last. I hope you enjoyed it anyway.
Welcome back. Glad you were able to find pleasure in the simple things. It has been very rainy here in New England as well.
Interesting post of your holiday. I guess the moral is always bring some good books and a camera.
Welcome!!! It is so nice to have you back! CDP simply hasn't been the same!
And what a great series of photos...so sorry about the weather...but you must have caught up on some reading...I like the photo of the highway...a bit fearsome. And "ecstasy" is a perfect way to end a holiday and a photo series!
Hope that your knee has healed, too.
Greetings from Lois Anne also!
Welcome back and thanks for sharing the wet pictures. We have plenty of rain here too. I like the top and bottom pictures the best, also la plage.
Have a great day!
Welcome back dear Ciel!
What a cool post! It's a pity that was raining "cats and dogs"there! LOL okay but I see it is great for rest and reading a lot!
God bless you

Bonjour Luxembourg
Yay! she's back. missed you! Sounds like you had a great holiday despite the weather. Good for you. MB
Truly a bilingual blogger reading all those books one in English, one in French! Sounds you didn't let the weather rain on your parade! Welcome back to blog-land.
Bonne vacnaces
Welcome back. You have been missed!
Thank you for those great holiday shots and comments. It feels as if you took us along with you. I can just imagine waking up to rain, day after day. But it really gave you permission to rest and read a bit, didn't it? And then the glorious day on the water, rather than under the weather. Wonderful!
Happy to have you back!!! And glad to hear the weather in Bretagne hasn't changed. :)
The first photo of the clouds is my favorite. They look so full that they're about to burst with rain. The sailboats are lovely on the blue water with the beautiful sky behind.
Welcome back. I missed your posts and the comments on mine. The rain feels so good. I've moved to the dry part of the state after living in a cool rain forest for 39 yrs and I can't wait for a cooling shower.
Oh, beautiful skies! And the beach shot...perfect for your book "Tales Out of Oregon." That's what Oregon's coast is like a majority of the time. It's part of what makes the Oregon Coast so beautiful.
Like everyone else, I'm delighted to see you back! What an amazing week of weather you had. And you read about Oregon :) I don't know that book. I'm online all the time. A week of reading sounds nice, but you probably would have liked a week of better tourist weather. Maybe you'll have to go back! I enjoyed your travel photos.
Welcome! Nice to see you posting!
Great you had at least few days with great weather!
Regards,
m_m
Yay, you're back! Glad you were determined to have a good time despite the rain. Your pictures give the feel of it.
Such contrasting photos are just amazing!
Welcome back, Ciel!
Some literature, ze beach, skies with character... that doesn't sound half bad?
Good to have you back.
I once spent two weeks cycling in Brittany, I think it rained on 8 of those days, heavy rain with strong winds too!! I still enjoyed the place though :o)) Hope you had a good rest on that beach!?
Glad you are back, Ciel!
